The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze has had several recalls in the past year. Starting from the first recall on June 22, 2012, with a potential unit affect of 53,239, components that were affected were the fuel system and gasoline (storage, tank, assembly, and mounting). On the same date, a potential of 431.148 units had the potentially affected components of the engine and the engine cooling.
The second recall on October 31, 2012, with a potential affected unit of 2,949, by the component, the air bags.
Again on January 24 of 2013, a potential 3,896 units had the same potential affected component of the air bags.
Now, the most recent recall on August 15, 2013, with a potential unit of 292,879 affected components consisting of the service brakes and the hydraulic (power assist).
With a total of eight recalls since the car was introduced in 2010, who knows what the next one will be.
