The new 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante may take a big chunk of money out of your banking account, but this beauty is worth every penny. The new 2014 Vanquish Volante wears the brand’s signature grille and the rear graphics and drop top’s shapely flanks also show Aston’s heritage. The body is defined by three characters, the muscular wheel arches that visually signal the ample under hood power, and there is a shaped spoiler that traces the rear of the deck lid. Carbon fiber is greatly used too to lower weight and add strength and flexibility. Underneath lies a bonded-aluminum structure that’s made of additional carbon fiber pieces. Settings for the dampers include Normal, Sport, and Track features. The convertible top also has a folding hardtop. The 2014 Aston has a 5.9-liter AM11 V-12 engine that produces a 565 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed automated-manual is estimated to accelerate from 0 to 60 in just about 4.2 seconds. The Vanquish Volante can be considered as a two-plus-two, but in reality, it’s a two-seater with a big storage space. There are leather-trimmed seats and there’s an option to have the seats with or without hourglass-style quilting. There’s also a classic four-gauge analog spread straight ahead of the driver.
