The 2014 Subaru Legacy is already up for recall. With a starting price of $21,295 and fuel efficiency of 24 cities and 32 highways, the sedan had a recall date of August 1, 2013. Certain models being recalled are the Legacy 3.6R along with other Subaru’s including the 2013 Outback 3.6R and the 2013 Tribeca. Reasons for the recall were the power train: automatic transmission. Equipped with a 2.5-liter H4 engine and 5-speed automatic, the reason for the recall was the parking rod possible could come loose on the inside of the auto transmission. So far there are a total of 202 affected potential units of the Legacy. With the possible affection of the units, Subaru will be notifying owners as well as dealers to replace the transmission and the recall was due to be in affect at the end of August of this year. Recall number is WQJ-46 and the replacement is free of charge.
