In September of this year, the new Mercedes-Benz S550 will be displayed in showrooms across North America. This new four-door sedan is a prime example of top-of-the-notch luxury and technology in today’s vehicles. There will be no less than six different versions of the S-class. There are a few differences between the new and old S-class’s exterior. Some of these changes include larger, more angular headlights, prominent swage line, and is only 0.8 inches longer, 1.1 inches wider, 0.4 inches higher, and gained an additional 11 lbs compared to the older models. The United States is only producing one engine, a carryover twin-turbocharged gasoline V8, for the new S550. The interior of the car shows its elegance and class with more accommodations and comfort than before. The new Mercedes-Benz is said to get 27.3 mpg combined, and is estimated to reach up to 62 mph in less than 5 seconds. Base price is estimated to be around $95,000.
